 I am a person of my dreams; I have always followed and believed in my dreams. Each day, each moment, each second my brain remains occupied with new thoughts and creativity. I believe in experimenting and creating newness in my life each day. I had completed my studies in information and technology from one of the Delhi’s reputed University. After completing my graduation and working as an It professional with Wipro I left the job very early. I have not dreamt of following the same routine each day, seeing the same things and working like a robot! So I bought a professional camera to shoot the dreams I desired and fill my canvas of life with creativity. I got enrolled in a course which taught film and theatre production. Since then I never looked back and kept chasing my dreams. There were a lot of challenges I had to overcome while pursuing this course. Each day here was something new to be done; the content needed a new perspective! I had worked on quite major projects while studying and afterward as well. The urge did not stopped there, the voice within me was still not silent, and the inner peace was not yet attained. I wanted to do something more, something of my own, my very own work. I pondered and hovered over my thoughts and then I thought of starting my own production company. Of all the challenges and dreams this was the toughest decision for me. No matter what I had made up in my mind I will stand strong and build my own company. I started planning things accordingly and made a layout, I met people seeking for their advices, the startups’, amateurs, professional and people who had made it big! After summarizing all the aspects of starting my own startup entrepreneur I stood firm on my decision and starting searching for a name for my business.

There was this eureka moment for me the name sparked to me while I was going through various names to be chosen for my company. The word “Meem” I thought off and I choose Meem Production as name for my company. Meem to me now has become “Making Every Event Memorable” it however has an initial meaning which comes from Urdu where it means an alphabet. This Urdu version of meaning is engraved with creativity and imagination beyond the edge. The very first of our work project included the production of a Bhojpuri reality singing show on Mahuaa television. The entire show production was managed my Meem Production on the sets of this shows. Meem Production started with the bang on project of this I too had not thought off. The production for the show went very well, after this we never stopped. At present Meem Production has managed varied streams of events. My acquaintance of knowledge about theatre and television production has helped me in every event, when it comes to stage, lighting and sound and synchronizing each of these elements. I always assure my clients that in terms of management and stage setup and production you can trust me blindly. I put my words and imagination into creativity and craftsmanship required for any event. If I had to introduce my business I would be something like this!  

Meem Production is not just an event company but it is a dream, a passion and an achievement earned through hard work followed by compassion. It has been more than four years since I learnt film Production and theatre production; I slowly got eloped into the show business. Meem Production is a strong combination of doers and dreamers. We are an event company which is breaking the monotony in the business of events and production through our concepts and creativity. Now our work I mean Meem Production work includes event management, event production, even planning and theming, celebrity and artist management, event branding, promotion, venue selection and booking, set design and decoration, audio visual services, event lighting, event production management, video production, crowd management and security, event photography and videography, live streaming, event social media, event feed, multimedia production. In terms of corporate events Meem Production is into product launch, trade fairs, meetings, press conferences, exhibitions, business conferences, leisure trips, award nights & ceremonies, corporate product videograhy and photography. Over the time Meem Production has done handful of government projects which includes projects survey, election campaign audio production, road shows, L.E.D. display & projection, video production, live coverage and live streaming stage designs, decorations, mechanism and constructions. Apart from the above events Meem Production has conducted college events, cultural festivals, management festivals, technical festivals, international academics conferences, convocations and workshops, theme parties, fashion shows, beauty pageants, wedding, music shows and concerts.

It is my life not just a part of my life. It is everything to me; it is my identity, my aspiration that daily pushes me to achieve better goals in life.

These are a few sneak peak form our event organised at King George Medical University, Lucknow. This event included Edm night by Vh1, Terrazak, Progressive brothers and Indian Idol Fame singer Kuldeep Chauhan. Meem Production was appraised and applauded by the Medical College faculties and students for the wonder show. As they say photograph speaks it all....!!   

The most splendid moment “wedding”

This is from our very first wedding project held in Lucknow. It was the Marriage based on Hindu rituals. In Hindu Mythology marriages are suppose to be very auspicious occasion. It is considered to be the bonds between two families. As they say marriages are made in heaven and wedding event planners create it beautifully on earth. When it is about marriages every person wants the best outcomes in every detailing done from photography, venue, video shoot, mehndi, sangeet, Theme, Décor, Music, food, attire to makeup artist. Marriage is one such event that can’t be improvised upon if things do not turn quite well on the days of function. The main concern of bride and bridegroom lies in the venue décor part as it would remain in the photographs forever. So we at Meem Production did the same for our to-be-wed couples who were both out stationed and choose Lucknow for their wedding destination. One day when we received a call from them stating their requirement for wedding planners, for us it was the first ever query for wedding that required the complete wedding solution from venue booking to bidaai, from return gifts to shopping in all a complete wedding solution. This to be wed couple had found out Meem Production from a distant friend or in other words from one of our corporate clients in Mumbai. Team Meem Production was very excited to work and accepted this challenge graciously. Our client “the bridegroom and bride” were from Mumbai, the bridegroom was associated with Indian Cricket team as their media manager. The venue selected for wedding was “Taj Vivanta located in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. The wedding was scheduled in winters somewhere around November, the bridegroom, Bride and their family arrived two days before the marriage was to happen. In the meanwhile we at Meem Production have had all the arrangement done for our client, even the pre wedding shoot was also planned. In the bylanes of Puarana Lucknow “Chowk” to the modern lanes of Hazratgnaj and Gomtinagar the pre-wed video and photography was done. The bride and bridegroom hardly had any time to experiment more in terms of photography and videos for their pre wedding shoot. So in the hustle and bustle of their busy schedule everything was somehow managed, with the minimum of resources and time Meem Production produced most productive and creative results. Our bride and grooms families have even planned a cricket match on the day before the wedding day between the bride families versus bridegroom family. In this family friendly wedding match the grooms team won the battle.

On the first day of function as usual the Mehndi, tail (oil) pujan, haldi and sangeet function took place, all the function were held at same place for the families. Meem Production has called out the Mehndi artist from Rajasthan, who showed their skills of painting hands with Mehndi marvelously. Mehndi is one the most important event in Hindu Marriages, the smell of Mehndi is supposed to fill the life of to be wed couples with luck and happiness. The darker is the colour of mehndi the stronger are the ties is to be believed! From the beats of Punjabi Dhol to DJ both the families enjoyed the functions in a never ending spirit of wedding. Team Meem Production could see the satisfaction and hard work paying for the efforts we have put in to make our Bride and bridegrooms wedding the most splendid moment of their life. The smiles of satisfaction and unspoken words of praise in terms of facial expression said it all loud, “yes we liked your work.” All the functions that take place in Hindu weddings were photographed beautifully and the venues for all the functions by Meem Production were decorated very beautifully with all the fresh flowers from season merging into the colors and theme’s as required by our bride and Bridegroom.

The bride and bridegroom chose the light peach colored outfits. The brie came in dressed in peach colored designer Lehnga and blouse teamed with golden jewellery. The bridegroom wore sherwani with dashes of peach color in it. The bride and bridegroom sparkled in their wedding dresses. On the Day of wedding a special team of photographers also working for Bollywood films were called upon to photograph each segment of the function in best possible, creative and candid way. Meem Production in this wedding had catered to many prominent list of guests like M.S. Dhoni, few famous politicians and celebrities. Nations favorite eminent cricket player Dhoni came as a surprise for many people as they did not knew he would also turn up. The moment guests from Wedding saw Mr Dhoni it brought a comforting nice smile on the faces of people. As usual it was a shutter open session wherein all wanted to be clicked with dhoni, so he did very happily. Mr Dhoni’s appearance in wedding was like cherry on cake moment, after congratulating the couple and spending warm moments in the city of tehzeeb “Lucknow” he waved off from the venue. Team Meem Production for sure enjoyed this moment of fame and frame! The special celebrity appearance in any wedding does steals the spot light from bride and bridegroom. The guests and attendee’s do get carried away with the celebrities in the venue leaving the bride and bridegroom. Foreign friend from across the territories enjoyed the wedding; they were gleamed up with ongoing wedding rituals. Interestingly the traditional Indian attire and wedding costumes for the non-Indian guests were also managed by Meem Production in this wedding. A special turban tying artist was called up to tie turban for each guest. From the men of the house to the women attendee’s all wore a pink turban, which made them distinguished as from bridegroom’s side. In Indian wedding turbans have got their own significance and importance, It is a mark of pride and celebration. It is a must worn thing in marriages especially if you are from groom’s side. This star studded wedding ended quite well in the soothing sound of jazz music. Every wedding seems undone and dull without dancing on the tunes of Punjabi songs and Dhol. The Punjabi music fills in altogether a different kind of energy into any function. All the guests did do a tango and their hips did not lie on Punjabi songs. The most joyful moment it was to see the entire venue dipped in the mood of enjoyment, dance and a little bit of drama and Happiness in the air. After the phera’s in the night now it was time for Bidaai. This moment in every wedding is the only ritual of pain and happiness mixed together. It marks two things at the same time the new beginnings and farewell from maternal house for the bride.

The most important decoration work by Meem Production was done was wisely and creatively. The decoration was kept simple yet graceful, sophisticated and elegant. Entrance of the venue had the semicircle passage with fresh flowers on the brim of the passage and cloth structure with chandeliers. The inside hall for marriage and stage were crafted with flowers and cloth draping. The seating space was covered with cream white draping and centre tables had flower vases and bouquets. The doors and windows were decorated in aisle style with cloth draping on half side and flowers outlining the draping.  Meem Production has summed up this wedding in the exactly same way client wished off! The bride and bridegroom were happy from the arrangement and management done by Meem Production. We wish our happy bride and bridegroom the heartiest warm wishes for their new journey.  Like always before we added another series of successful event management.
